K2 Jasper is instantly recognisable for its beautiful contrast: a pale granite background scattered with vivid blue spots of azurite.

Despite its familiar trade name, K2 Jasper is not actually a jasper. It is primarily granite containing azurite, and occasionally other copper minerals. That unusual combination is part of what makes each piece so distinctive.

Within crystal traditions, the granite is associated with grounding and stability while the blue azurite is linked with intuition, insight and spiritual awareness. Together they create a lovely symbolic balance between keeping our feet firmly on the ground and allowing ourselves to consider a wider perspective.
